But for the second day in a row, the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots engaged in what can only be described as a brawl. Things got so bad that many players from both sides were suspended from training. As detailed by beat reporters on Twitter, the fight broke out when Patriots defensive end Deatrich Wise tackled Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey hard at or near the boundary line. McCaffrey threw the ball to Wise, which sparked a huge scramble between the teams. When all was said and done, Wise was suspended as was Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard. Panthers safety Kenny Robinson was also ejected a day after being suspended for a different game. Another brawl also broke out during a return drill, though it’s unclear if the two fights were connected. Another day at NFL training camps.
