Dr Eileen de Villa shared the news of her diagnosis in a tweet in which she said she “follows public health guidelines and rests at home”.
“I feel relatively well and I owe it to myself to be informed about the COVID-19 vaccines,” he wrote.

De Villa urged everyone to take the next eligible dose of the vaccine “to protect yours, your loved ones and your community”.
