Betting options to win

Our betting experts give you options to win based on value. We look at the betting table and tell you who has the best chance of redeeming your ticket. Xander Schauffele will try to win his first major title at the US Open 2022 after finishing in the top 10 in each of his last five appearances in the tournament. Photo by Andrew Redington / Getty Images Michael Collins, ESPN Senior Golf Analyst Winner: Sam Burns (25-1) Why he will win: Burns already has three wins this season and is hot after his last three starts. At 25-1, it’s worth a lot on a stacked pitch. Anita Marks, ESPN betting analyst Winner: Sungjae Im (40-1) Why he will win: Im playing well on the big stage (T-2 and T-8 in the Masters, T-17 in the PGA Championship). He checks many of the boxes when looking at the metrics needed to win at Brookline, ranking 29th in driving accuracy, seventh in the Greens in regulation and third in scrambling this season. David Bearman, Deputy Sports Betting Editor, ESPN.com Winner: Justin Thomas (11-1) Why he will win: Thomas made another incredible appearance last week in Canada 63-64 over the weekend to almost chase Rory McIlroy. He is third on the tour jersey and won shots overall, 6th in the approach and 14th from the jersey. Thomas is arguably the hottest golfer on tour right now and finally overcame the “second big” drought last month. No. 3 should be on paper this weekend. Chris Fallica, ESPN Betting Analyst Winner: Dustin Johnson (40-1) Why he will win: Johnson is a former US Open champion and has enjoyed five top-6 finishes in seven years. This lesson will require long, precise play from the t-shirt, and that’s right in the DJ alley. It did not have the best years, but at this price, it is absolutely worth a game. Michael Collins returns for a brand new season of America’s Caddie. It will take you to the world of golf with exclusive appearances at some of the top golf courses, stories, celebrity guests and interviews with the biggest golf stars. Streaming to ESPN + Tyler Fulghum, ESPN betting analyst Winner: Xander Schauffele (22-1) Why he will win: Schauffele never won a major championship, but he was always in contention at the US Open. He has played in the tournament five times in his career and has T-5, T-6, T-3, 5 and T-7. Schauffele always seems to play his best when the conditions are more fraudulent and the pitch is deeper. It’s time for X-Man to make his first major win. Joe Fortenbaugh, ESPN Betting Analyst Winner: Shane Lowry (35-1) Why he will win: Lowry has just built a T-10 in Canada to go with the T-3 finishes at both the Masters and RBC Heritage and with the final result of second place in the Honda Classic. It currently ranks ninth on the coin tour: approaching the green, which is an integral part of a track like the Brookline with green stamps.

Brackets and much more

Our betting experts do not have to win simple bets. Here are some props you should aim for throughout the tournament, from the top 10 to the cuts to the tournament matches. Dustin Johnson Top-10 Finish (+400)Bearman: This option is not about the LIV tour, but about gaining 4-1 in the top-10 in a former No. 1 player in the world who has a strong resume playing well in the Northeast. He has six top 10s at the US Open, including a win in 2016. He was not at all great this year, but if he carries his A-game and golf with a chip on his shoulder, that could also win the 40-1 payout. victory. Collin Morikawa finish in the top-10 (+175) Bearman: I will play with Morikawa to win in the top-10, as he is undoubtedly the top striker of the tour and this course requires this kind of game. His fight has always been the player, but Morricau understood it in the two previous big companies. This course is specifically designed for a man fifth in approach and 20th from the t-shirt, and a third leg of the Grand Slam is not ruled out. 2 About Bryson DeChambeau Top-5 Finish (+800) Collins: DeChambeau is healthy and surprisingly on the radar this week. This is a literal “money bang” bet. He will try to do what he did at Winged Foot to win this US Open. Playoff to Decide the Winner (+310) Collins: Media members hate to hear the word golf playoffs, but this week has all the potential for three to four playoffs. Many guys seem to be peaking their games right now. Xander Schauffele’s top-10 finish (+225) Fallica: Although Schauffele failed to win a major championship, he has excelled at the US Open. He has published five Top 10 in each of his five appearances, with three top-five. Schauffele ranks seventh in the strokes they won: t-shirt up green and ninth in the coins: overall. This complete game should give another strong weekend at the US Open. Viktor Hovland will lose the cut (+225) Fallica: Hovland has not had a Top 20 in a brainstorming match since March and has never finished in the Top 10 in a major category. He is also terrific around the green – 204th in strokes he won around the green – and given the small size of these greens, this could cause him problems this weekend. Max Homa Top-20 Finish (+160) Points: Homa’s first two touring victories were both in major league-quality stadiums. He did T5 at Memorial – where he only needed 99 shots that week and T-13 at the PGA Championships last month. Adri Arnaus’s top-40 finish (2-1) Points: Arnaus has a long way to go this week. He has dominated the DP World Tour, finished T-30 in the PGA Championship and is the second best player from Spain, behind Jon Rahm.
