Despite a long career in soubises, Patsy Kensit is perhaps best known for her confusing love life. And now – at 54 – she says she finally realized she didn’t have to walk down the aisle with so many of her friends. In fact, the former Holby City star seems to have removed two of her four exes from her husband’s list. Miss Kensit with Simple Minds second husband Jim Kerr, father of one of her two sons But today, unmarried and “dating”, Miss Kensit honestly admits that only two of her four runway trips were “major weddings.” They are those of Kerr and Gallagher – fathers of the sons of James, 28, and Lennon, 22, respectively, who both still live with her in north London. He told the Postcards From Midlife podcast: “Well, I married all my friends, so … that was something I learned I didn’t need to do. I can not change the rules of the law … [but] I’ve been with Jim and Lennon’s father for years, so I count them as my two marriages. “I know this is not allowed, I know it was a ceremony. “But I feel that these were really important relationships and very, very deep and wonderful in many ways.” Miss Kensit married Donovan in 1988, but they divorced in 1991. A year later, she married Kerr but divorced in 1995. Until 1997, Miss Kensit was married to Gallagher. They divorced in 2000 and it took nine years for Miss Kensit to walk down the aisle again, this time marrying Healy. They have been friends since the 1980s.
