On May 21, at approximately 5:20 p.m., police were called to CF Market Mall for reports of a man wandering through the mall harassing customers. Police said in a news release it is believed he harassed several women and girls in various stores and areas of the mall before sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. Police say the victim and her friend alerted store staff and mall security. The man fled the mall and was last seen heading north toward 40th Avenue N.W. The suspect, who was captured on surveillance video, is described as approximately five feet eight inches tall, with a slim build, dark brown eyes and dark hair with a bald spot near the top of his head. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark green jacket and grey cargo pants. Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to contact them by calling 403-266-1234.
