A black bear has been euthanized after storming a family tent camp in eastern Tennessee on Sunday morning, leaving a mother and her 3-year-old daughter with superficial head injuries, the National Park Service said. The family of five and their dog were sleeping at Elkmont Campground in Great Smoky Mountains National Park when the bear, which according to officials “showed extreme food-based behavior and lack of fear for people,” fell on stage around 5 p.m. : 20 π.μ.
